MA History: Museum Studies, UNH 2025
The beginning of the growing season for the UNH Flax-to-Linen Project has begun! Over the past several weeks, Project Director Dr. Kimberly Alexander, along with the Flax-to-Linen team, has spread out over the local community, broadcasting flax seeds at five grow sites so far including Vernon Farm, the UNH Child Study and Development Center, the Woodman Museum, Newmarket Historical Society, and the Newmarket Recreation Department. As of this post, all five grow sites have sprouted and are looking strong. The Flax-to-Linen team would like to thank the Hayes Fellowship from the UNH Center for the Humanities, the UNH History Department, and all our community partners who have supported us throughout the 2025 growing season. Here's to a healthy and happy season!
